Comments
Again, with this sculpture, as with other free forms I have done in this style, the finial form defies our mental concept of the solidity of the media. The way the form flows from one element to the other suggests that it was modeled from slabs of clay rather than carved. The result is the subtle representation of two human figures embracing from a kneeling position. The supple bending of edges blend into each other in a intertwining way to enhance the sensual rapture of the moment.
