Stature is important to Art of all sorts, but I believe it to be essential to sculpture in particular. To build stature in realistic sculpture three elements have to be taken into account. Position,
proportion, and posture. The position of Crakata is symmetrical and the posture is rigid, lending a stoic look to this piece. A slight elongation to his proportion, adds a touch of
elegance. Overall these factors come together to give the figure a stately look which in turn evokes a feeling of wisdom and respect, complementing the nature of the subject.
